Public Service Commission - Failure to upload NET qualification along with their applications was not attributable to the candidates. In such circumstances, it would be unjust and arbitrary to reject the applications submitted by those candidates, for the only reason that their NET qualification was not uploaded.

Service Law – Public Service Commission – Age Relaxation - In the absence of any indication in the rules / executive instructions, the provisions for age relaxation cannot be construed on cumulative basis in respect of applicants who are covered under more than one categories for which age relaxations may have been provided. Rather, such provisions will have to be construed on a noncumulative basis.

Public Service Commission - K ey Answers -  When there are conflicting views, then the court must bow down to the opinion of the experts. Judges are not and cannot be experts in all fields and, therefore, they must exercise great restraint and should not overstep their jurisdiction to upset the opinion of the experts.

Public Service Commission -  Re-evaluation of answer scripts -  in absence of any rule permitting re-evaluation of answer scripts as also in absence of any cogent material having been brought on record by the writ petitioners to show illegalities in evaluation of the answer scripts, the prayer made by the writ petitioners are devoid of any merit.
